Appropriate Use Policy

This Appropriate Use Policy (“Policy”) describes prohibited uses of the Aethel Cloud platform, portal, and related services (the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to the most current version of this Policy. We may modify this Policy at any time by posting a revised version. The examples described below are not exhaustive.

1. No Illegal or Harmful Use

You may not use the Services to violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights. Prohibited activities include, without limitation:

Engaging in or promoting any illegal activity, fraud, or deceptive practices.
Distributing material that infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of others.
Storing, transmitting, or processing content that is defamatory, obscene, abusive, or otherwise objectionable.
Violating the security or integrity of any network, computer, or communications system.

2. No Security Violations

You may not use the Services to violate the security or integrity of any network, computer, or communications system, software application, or network or computing device. Prohibited activities include unauthorized access, interception of data, falsifying packet headers, and probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of a system without authorization.

3. No Network Abuse

You may not make network connections to any users, hosts, or networks unless you have permission to communicate with them. Prohibited activities include monitoring or crawling systems in a manner that impairs them, deliberate attempts to overload a system, and operating open proxies, mail relays, or recursive DNS resolvers.

4. No Email or Message Abuse

You may not distribute, publish, send, or facilitate unsolicited mass email or other messages, promotions, advertising, or solicitations (“spam”). This includes harvesting addresses, sending messages with forged headers, and failing to comply with applicable anti-spam laws.

5. Service Resources and Integrity

You may not use the Services in a way that compromises the availability, reliability, or performance of the platform for other customers, or that places an unreasonable load on Aethel Cloud infrastructure. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

6. Reporting and Enforcement

If you become aware of any violation of this Policy, please notify us at abuse@aethelcloud.com. We reserve the right, but do not assume the obligation, to investigate any violation of this Policy and may remove or disable access to offending content, suspend or terminate accounts, and cooperate with law enforcement authorities.
